📢 Breaking News (7th September 2026)

The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB), in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, has officially released the 2026 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination results.

Congratulations to all 188,169 candidates who sat for the 2026 MSCE examinations! Out of these, 111,510 candidates have passed, representing an overall national pass rate of 59.26%.

Pass Requirements

To be awarded the MSCE certificate, candidates must satisfy either of the following conditions:

  • Obtain a pass in six (6) subjects including English, with a credit pass in at least one (1) of them.
  • Obtain a pass in five (5) subjects including English, with a credit pass in at least three (3) of them.

  1. Visit the official MANEB Examination Results Portal: https://maneb.malawi265.com/examresults/
  2. Enter your correct Examination Number
  3. Enter your Date of Birth (required for security)
  4. Click "Submit" to view and download your result slip

For Schools/Examination Centres:

Schools can access results through their e-Registration Portal. Results will be available as downloadable PDF documents.

📝 How to Query or Re-mark Your Results

All queries must reach MANEB by 8th October 2026

No further queries will be accepted after this date.

Query Process:

  • Queries must be done in writing
  • Submit through the Head of School where you registered
  • All queries must reach MANEB by 8th October 2026

Re-mark Process:

  • Collect re-marking forms from your respective school
  • Fill out the forms completely
  • Submit through your school administration
